While working with the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, I was sent to the 1983 National Sports Festival in Colorado Springs to observe the management of different sports venues.
The Festival was sponsored by the U.S. Olympic Committee.
My assignment in LA was to work on Equestrian, Water Polo, and Rowing and Canoeing venues.
I was able to visit these venues and several others too... including archery, basketball, gymnastic, swimming, volleyball, and wrestling.
The sports venues I visited included those at the Olympic Sports Center, the Air Force Academy Cadet Field House, Coronado High School, and various other outdoor locations.
